Alphabet Accessories 1-28

Elif and Hamza are represented by an elephant and palm fronds.

Notice the elephant's tusks.  Don't they look kind of like a big white curly mustache?

Now think of those palm fronds.  Don't they make a nice grass skirt?  If I put it with a mouse, I've got a hamza affixed to my letter miim:

Remember how Brahman Bunny had that red dot on his forehead?  Let's spread that red all around his head in a band for accessory letter B to give ourselves a red headband, like big bird is wearing here:

The Toad was drinking ice tea, so let's associate him with an icepack:

Thoth had those funny three jeweled dots sticking up out of his crown, so let's think of his had as a miners helmet with 3 headlights:

What do you think that semi-transparent pink jelly fish looks like?  Try associating it with a pink veil like this little girl is wearing:

Obviously, our pirates hook hand jumps out at us as his accessory, but get ready for funny stories with this one--you don't just have to think pirates with the hook, as this comic illustrates:

That Hawk of ours could be turned into a black feather headdress like this:

To go swimming with our dolphin we'd need a wet suit like this penguin did:

I imagine our reddish orange dhole out there casing the cat wearing a bright orange hunting vest:

The raccoon, that masked rascal, would surly hook us up with a ski mask:

The Zebra could lone us his referee whistle:

The scorpion accessory seems like it would be a bottle of pepper spray tucked into an innocuous necklace that looks a little like a scorpion's stinger after all.  Spray also starts with the S sound.

A shark is all about his teeth.  To emphasis those teeth accessories we could imagine grill or braces.  I can't stand grill, so I'll choose that since it will sting my memory more with annoyance.

For Saad, let's imagine a Samurai Sword with a gold handle.

For Daad, let's put flippers or duck feet where ever we need them, like on a mouse for example:

Hamster Duck

For Taad, with our Tarantula, let's think of roller skates, since they give us 8 wheels like a spider's 8 legs.

For the Zither, think of an electric dog collar that "zaps" someone's "throat."  Poor puppy, he might be playing the blues on his zither after his throat gets zapped!

For 'Ayn, think of chewing tobacco drool coming out of one of our icon's months' -- after all, to learn the sound we we're thinking of an owl coughing up an owl pellet:

R'ayn sounds a little like rain, so let's think of that as a bright rain jacket.  And yes, people have put these on animals:

Remember how our flamenco was wearing binocular glasses to gaze at the stars?  That's his accessory:

The Cat in number 21 for Qaaf had big earrings, so that's easy:

The Kangaroos in 22, were wearing tutu's, so we can put this accessory on other animals to attach a "K":

Lambs give us wool, so let's imagine animals with white woolen socks with attached lams:

The mouse was stealing a watch, so a nice pocket watch will be his accessory icon:

The nut cracker will have to find us some knee pads since they also start with the N sound since he doesn't have any clear accessories of his own:
The Hydra kind of looks like a cigar, so let's put a cigar in the mouths of are cartoon characters occasionally when we need a light H attached.

The whale was bringing a bag of Euros to England, so let's accessorize this letter with a purse:
Finally, the Yak had two big nose rings, so that's the accessory for Y.
